How meditation helps women’s health
Right from the yoga gurus in the ancient days to the psychologists and psychotherapists in the modern phase all have emphasized the beneficial role of meditation on human health. Meditation is particularly suitable and is a must for women both working and housewives. Women often suffering from distress, health problems, irritation, and fluctuating temper during the menstrual and the post menopause stage have shown remarkable improvements in their condition due to meditation.
Meditation is an act of concentration and is usually practiced in the morning and can be done from 10 minutes to 60 minutes. It enhances the calmness of the mind and mental peace. It is particularly beneficial if done within minutes after arising from sleep. The half sleep and half awake situation is most suitable for the meditation as it helps you connect with the unconscious which is generally forgotten in the full awake state and brings mental firmness and strength. Due to this reason it is specially recommended for the persons with infirmity and irresoluteness. If practiced by children then it would help them to arrange and control their own thought process and also helps in the cure of tension and hyper tension during exams and other tests. The women who are juggling their office and house work may find it extremely useful. Meditation has natural effects on the nervous system and helps in their proper maintenance. The patients suffering from various nervous problems and diseases are advised to follow a regular routine of meditation along with regular medication and this combination has shown remarkable improvement of condition. The women suffering from mid life crisis can also try this out as this will have the same effect that a psychotherapist will have on you. One of the most important thing to note is that it is devoid of any side effects and is based on four thousand years old Vedic principles.
