How Proper Health can be Maintained
Health can be described perfectly to be the condition of entire mental, physical, as well as social well being, not just living without deformities and diseases- is the definition given by the “World Health Organization”.
In the year nineteen eighty-six the WHO stated in the “Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion”, health to be the resource for regular living, not just the objective to live. It is a constructive idea, which highlights public and personal assets.
The overall idea of health can be realized by the proper blend of mental, physical, emotional, & societal well-being. Together it is commonly called the “Health Triangle”.
Let’s put some spotlight on the two major aspects of health: Mental, and Physical.
Mental Health:
It is described to a state of emotionally healthy well being, or with a complete absence of any basic emotional disorder. It is better described by the WHO as a condition of well being in which a person has the realization of “his or her” capabilities, and is able to deal with the regular hassles of life. The individual is able to work efficiently and fruitfully, along with making an amount of contribution to “his or her” society. But, despite of these theoretical and official definitions of “mental health”, this term, and the query of whether an individual is at all mentally stable or not, is still an assessment based on subjectivity.
Physical Health:
It is in general referred to health of the body. This is the outcome of consistent exercise, along with proper food consumption which is nutritive in nature.
An effective indicator of health of an enclosed population is the average height or the average weight of the group. This value usually grows with progressive health care and nutrition. “Quality of life” and the “standard of living” are also two of the major factors responsible for such an improvement. Genetics too is a major role-player affecting people’s height.
