How to Attend to Fainting

Fainting, to some extent, is a very common disease which can occur to anybody any moment. You may have come across many incidents fainting around yourself in the school, or in the market place or at any public place. It is disease which happens automatically and it gives you no chance to control yourself. In this condition, the patient requires immediate medical attention.
As a responsible and cautious citizen of your land, you must know what to do and what not to do in the condition when somebody undergoes a situation of fainting. You must have the idea as to how to prevent a fainting fit or how can you minimize the damage caused by a fainting fit.
As a matter of fact, fainting is not a serious disease and you can provide at least some medical help to person suffering from fainting fit. Generally it is found that syncope is responsible for fainting fit. Syncope is very common to women in the age group of 40 years. Therefore you need to remain a bit careful as you approach your 40s.
In this condition you feel clammy as you turn pale. Your legs become too weak to support your body and as a matter of fact you fall down on the ground. Sometimes you also become victim of vertigo which makes as if the whole world is spinning around your head. Let’s find out what are the probable reasons of fainting?
Dehydration is a very common cause for fainting. You must drink plenty of water everyday to keep your body maintain the quantity of water intact. If you are patient of blood sugar, then you can also be victim of fainting fit. So avoid eating sugar and follow all the dietary limitations in that case.
Stress and pain also cause fainting fit. Excessive amount of workload, pain in the body and any other reason of stress also cause fainting. Try to keep yourself normal even if you have a tremendous workload to keep the brain working perfectly. If you have encountered fainting just now, then you must start the treatment immediately. EKG (electrocardiogram) and EEG (electroencephalogram) can detect the reason of your fainting.
If you note any of the symptoms of syncope attack, do the following activities immediately:
· Try to lie or sit down immediately to reduce the chances of getting hurt severely.
· Lie down keeping your head in line with your body.
· Breathe slowly.
· Try to attract the attention of other around you so that you can get the medical treatment quite quickly.
· Keep yourself wet by taking plenty of water at proper intervals of time.
