How to Avoid Constipation

Do not look at the term ‘constipation’ merely as a term used for a disease related to stomach disorder. Don’t take it lightly as it may cause severe amount of pain to you also. If you have not suffered from this disease, then you probably do not know how a person feels when he suffers from constipation.

This disease is very common to the children and therefore it is a very common pediatrics symptom. This disease causes mild to severe pain in the abdominal area. But this disease is also very common to the men and women of all age groups. You can never be assured that this ailment would not happen to you as you are evenly poised for becoming a victim of this gripping pain.

You must take care of yourself properly; otherwise this disease may get chronic with you. Women who have undergone pregnancy surgery should be very careful to take care of their diet to avoid constipation. If not dealt properly, it can lead to diverticula which make you bleed severely. Due to its position in the internal organs of your body, it may get even more serious. At that time, the patient is hospitalized and undergoes a surgical treatment.

How would you identify Constipation?

You can know by yourself if you are suffering from constipation or not. Just follow these symptoms and see if you:

*Are having bowels re than normal frequency

*Need to strain while passing your bowel

*Are having abnormally hard stools

*Are having gripping abdominal pain

If these symptoms are present in you, then you are suffering from Constipation. Do the following to take care of you:

* Drink water: You need to take extra quantity of water to get your stomach back to normalcy.
* Prefer more Fiber: Fibers are very essential for a good and sound stomach. Take different kinds of fibers in your diet to get the best result.
* Live an active Life: Your body needs more movement to make all the internal organs work faster and more effectively.
