How to Avoid Heart Attack
Hectic life style has taken its toll on the body and today we are faced with a crisis of heart problems. Many in your neighbourhood suffer from either minor or major heart problems and may be its your chance next. Heart is one of the most vital organs of the body and failure of it could lead even to death. So how can you prevent it? Well improving your diet significantly decreases the chances of heart attack.
Vegetables:
Include a lot of green vegetables in your diet. It is best to have them raw so that you get most of the inerals and vitamins. But if you can’t then cook them slightly. Have at least 3-4 servings of green vegetables per day.
Cereals:
Increase the intake of cereals each day. They have carbohydrates, fibres and are also beneficial to the body. Rice, pasta, wheat, oats, corns should be taken daily. Try to have at least 5-6 servings of cereals per day. Remember one thing reducing cholesterol and al the diseases related to it will significantly reduce the chances of heart attack.
Dairy Product:
Have at least 2-3 servings of dairy product per day. One must keep in mind that , he should avid whole, cream milk , cheese, butter at any cost. In fact butter, cheese have more calories and increase the cholesterol level of the blood while they are low on nutritional value. You can insist on low fat curd and yogurts.
Protein:
Beans, Peas, Soya are very good source of veg protein and if you have no relish for non veg food then have them regularly so that you may not suffer from malnutrition.
Fried food:
You may have loved all the fried stuffs but realise one thing they increase the chance of heart attack manifold. Stay away from them.
