The secret of healthy hair is the healthy hair roots and clean and clear scalp. Most of the shampoos and conditioners works from outside but it is quite doubtable about their internal penetration. So healthy diet is also very important to keep hair healthy and strong. In summer many people face severe problem of hair which is mainly due to the summer heat and humidity. The scalp remains sweaty in this time and the hair roots get blocked and create hindrance in proper absorption of the nutrients. The blocked hair roots also prevent hair growth and growth of new hair making it look dull and frizzy. One of the best ways to tackle hair problems and a quite effective measure is to clean the hair and the scalp at least 3 times a week with proper conditioning shampoo and conditioner. It is always advisable to cover up your hair with a scarf while going out in the sun as the harmful rays of the sun makes the hair visibly damaged and rough. Cutting the hair short is also a good measure if you do not have time for proper care and treatment of the hair.

Certain scalp problems also make the hair less manageable like dandruff. In the summer you may not see the visible flakes because they remain moist due to sweat but can prove to be troublesome. Instead of antidandruff shampoos you can use natural therapies like lemon juice and tea liquor. Last but not least a change in the food habit can bring all the difference. Have plenty of water along with vitamin A rich fruits and vegetables. Those of you who do not wash your hair regularly will have to do it in the summer in order to clean the scalp of sweat and salt deposits.
