The best way to reduce stress is getting it out of ones head and restoring in ones own self a sense of well being.  If you are obsessed about something it is time you think differently. You do not have to feel burnt up due to that all the time. A short stroll in the open is an ideal technique for relaxation. You can also go for Yoga exercises. When you exercise, the focus is not on the anxieties or fears but straight on your body. A massage or a sauna would help you to feel comfortable and carefree very soon.

You should be able to get enough rest and learn to relax in the evening completely. That way you would feel relaxed the time you go to bed. Bringing work home is a bad practice. You would do better if you have a fresh mind the next day.  A warm bath helps. Reading books that uplift the spirits are good for mental relaxation. Let the cares slip away fast and do what you like to do the most. You would get a refreshing sleep at night.

There are some instant calmers which work miracles.

Do not panic as few things are really that bad as they seem. At times of immense stress you can phone a friend. Sharing helps in times of stress. You may walk the stress off as a walk helps you mentally as physically. You can speak to yourself very positively and let it be your inner Mantra. It could be a prayer or some positive words repeated with your inner confidence. You can chill out by going on relaxation techniques online. You can try out breathing exercises like Pranayama in a quiet corner.

Lastly, choose to do what you feel like. You have to feel positive from within and having faith on God, you would be soon out of stress in no time.
