How to Retain Conjugal Love Even After Pregnancy
Pregnancy and child birth is one of the happiest moments in a woman’s life and we all want a happy family with husband, kids. However pregnancy and post pregnancy stages are filed with certain complexities that are generally rare but happen nonetheless. You can be aware about the complications involved in pregnancy but are simply caught unaware when these types of problems arise. One of the commonest of this, not so common problem, is the problem with conjugal love among the husband and the wife.
The Problem:
Pregnancy stages are not really favorable for having intercourse and the post pregnancy stages also brings with it certain physical and hormonal changes that are bring about temperamental and behavioral changes that are also not stimulating enough, or quite discouraging for the partner. To top it all the arrival of the new baby also changes the mood and priority of the commitment of the mother. Most of the times the mothers remain busy with their child and as a result one partner is neglected. Again the stress and strain of the pregnancy and the post pregnancy stages also decreases the urge to have sex. All these bring about infinite complexities.
Understanding:
All you need to do in such circumstances is to spend time with your partner and the child as a family. You must understand that love cannot be forced and cannot be done with an unwilling partner, and the unwillingness comes not from impulsiveness but from a change of hormonal and physical attributes. Give her the time to recover.
The Child:
Also take part in looking after the child. Share the duties and through this top priority of the mother you can remain emotionally attached and close to one another.
Remember sex is not everything in a relationship though it may be of utmost necessity. The child can become the cause of a renewed bond instead of a hindrance in the path of love.
