Listen To What Your Belly Says
According to a popular belief all over the world, people believe that the stomach is the root of all the major physical disorders. Whether you have faith in this idea or not but it is right to a certain extent. Your stomach or the belly is in the root of all the major diseases that a human body suffers from. But this idea has an other side also.
Usually we think that our belly is a trouble maker for our body and it sabotages our diet but it is not the complete truth as our belly does a lot of good services for us as well. It works 24-hours a day to keep us fit and healthy by destroying the harmful bacteria that are present in our food. It also breaks up the food we eat into simpler ingredients that provide our body with the required amount of energy which we need to do from our simplest work to the most difficult ones.
Sometimes we blame our belly to be of abnormally big size. Actually for this also, our belly should not be blamed. It is only of dimensions 12 inches long to 4 to 10 inches wide which stretches as we take food in. That is not abnormal at all. Actually, it is because of any genetic or physical reasons, our belly becomes big which is obviously not the fault of it. It also increases in its size because of abnormal eating habits also.
Our belly does a big service for us as it digests the food that we eat all through the day. It is a big contribution for the whole body of ours as we can’t do without this particular service of the belly. About 35-thousand acid secreting lie in the lap of the belly that secret different types of juices or hormones every moment. The belly takes care of the whole action and brings the result in our favor. Generally all these acids are not good for the belly as we’ll as for our body.
The belly does its action all through our life without stopping for a moment. It regulates the whole procedure of the digestion of food under its guidance. But only the cortisol, the stress hormone that is released from the human brain makes it stop occasionally and that’s where we feel sick of stomach disorders.
