Thinking of losing weight is not a crime but if you feel you should lose weight but fail to do that, you feel victimized. So before you shut down the fridge, why don’t you go into a little investigation?
If you see a lot of knives and spoons around, there is a tendency to take a helping out of that pork pie from the refrigerator and have a sumptuous feast. You also have to look into the fact whether the bowls and plates that you use are as big as the serving plates. The bigger sized plates and spoons and cups always encourage you to take a bigger helping. As for the spoons and knives, they often match ice cream, peanut butter and creamy mayo. A fork would let you dig into lean meats, steamed vegetables and crunchy salads.
Smaller utensils make you take smaller bites. You should take a longer time to eat the food so that you have the time to feel full. A big soup bowl can be exchanged for a mug or anything that is less than 5 inches in diameter. If you want to lap up some pudding instead of some oatmeal, then you should take caution and always use a baby spoon.
You can buy one vegetable each day and have that religiously. That will help to keep your weight low. Keep some frozen spinach as these have longer shelf life. You can defrost them in the microwave oven and have them with some scrambled eggs in the morning. You do not need any more washing and cleaning because they are already washed and cleaned and it will take little time to prepare the breakfast. Do not keep a packet of cookies at hand because that will keep you away from losing weight fast.
