While dieting, there is no need to feel deprived. Just follow the following eight tricks that help you feel satisfied even when you eat less.
AT HOME:
1.) Eggs, must in breakfast: Studies have stated that your calorie consumption comes under control quite well if you start off your day by having two eggs. Prepare yourself a low-calorie filled dish like, tossing up one-quarter cup of black beans along with four eggs.
2.) Begin other feasts with salad: The water content in vegetables is reasonably high and increase weight but no calorie. Moreover having vegetables imply quite a lot of chewing which instigates your brain to think that you have been eating for quite a long time and helps you feel satisfied.
3.) Play brain games: Lessen the size of your cutlery and dinner sets, such as plates, bowls and tall glasses. This helps you feel that you are having less food without having the feeling of being deprived.
4.) Stick to a regime: If you are basically accustomed in having your lunch and breakfast at your work place at definite times, then do try to maintain the same during the holidays. Your hunger tends to increase if you skip or delay your meal timings and hence, might lead to over-eating.
AT A RESTAURANT:
5.) First make an order for soup: Make sure you don’t get it creamy and mainly vegetable based. The fiber works magic as because it soaks up the entire fluid content in the soup giving you a feeling of fullness.
6.) Focus mainly on proteins: place your order for beef, chicken seafood instead of rice or pasta. Protein, rather than calorie has considerably more continuing power.
7.) Reduce your intake of cocktails: Control yourself from ordering alcohol until your food is served. Your overall calorie rate will reduce. Sip in water so as to reduce room for alcohol or club soda or any other diet soft drink.
8.) Dive into desserts!: Yeah ! You have read it correct. But here is the constraint, do not have it all yourself but share it with your friends. Take only two or three bites but not more than that. Actually, you very well know that the first few bites give you the maximum pleasure!
