Holidays are perhaps the most cherishable moments of your life. The time spent with your family, the parties, the fun will stay with you forever. But apart from happiness another thing is also going to stay with you and that is the memory of gaining additional weight and frustration after returning to home. Wee if you are a bit serious then perhaps you won’t be facing any problem with your fitness during the holidays and will be able to effectively maintain the weight.

Alcohol:

Remember the parties and what fun you had with all those mocktails. Well not fun actually . Alcohol can lead to severe weight gain and it is better if you can lower the intake and replace it with fruit juices and mocktails.

Eat Before Attending Any party:

It is always better to keep the stomach full before attending any party or dinner. It will save you from plunging into all the food you can find. Initially it may seem to spoil the fun but remember dear there is no fun without fitness.

Exercise:

Whatever you do, wherever you go always maintain your exercise schedule. We are not asking for 5 hours bicep curls but half an hour walking, swimming, etc go a long way in keeping you fit.

Healthy Snacks;

Bring low fat dishes to potluck parties and also encourage others to do the same. Replace fried breakfasts with healthy holiday breakfasts like nuts in shells and fruit baskets.

Dinner:

Whenever you attend any dinner party or host one be sure to serve less fat dishes. Nobody will criticise you rather as you are well aware people are becoming more calorie conscious.

Relax:

Have mental peace. In a party if you have gorged on a high calorie ice cream then do not panic. Make it up with light lunch and dinner in the coming days.
