Stress in any way can cause a negative impact on the spiritual, mental and physical health of a woman. It affects the immunity in the body and lowers the work productivity. Stress also causes a strain on the friendship and relationship of a person. At the same time it can affect your parenting skills. As a woman of the present day you have to do everything you need to do. If you practice a bit, you can take stress out of your lives. Once you relieve the level of stress you would be doing more work at home and at office. You can try out a few of the relaxation techniques. They would need a bit of strain but they are very effective and they work well.

You have to take breaks. Monotonous work without breaks can be harmful.
You can take a short stroll outside and then rest for some time. You can clear the mind and concentrate only on the rejuvenation of soul, mind and body. You can absorb calming thoughts that are peaceful. You may call a friend and share with them. Then after 5 minutes you can again get back to work.

Breathing is important and according to the Indian scriptures it is referred to as “Pranayama”. Deep breathing and other breathing exercises help to relieve stress and also help you out of many other diseases.
You have to exercise daily. You can walk to the shopping mall, or even while you go to fetch your everyday groceries. Exercising helps to release the body toxins. Play tennis, ride a bike and have fun! You need to do this daily.

You have to delegate work at office and also at home. If others make a mistake, suggest to them how they can do it better. Don’t try to do all. Help the kids with their work too. Ask the kids to do up their rooms themselves instead of doing that on your own. That would help to relieve a lot of stress and take the burden off your shoulders.
