Stay Fit without Gym

To be fit you need not be a member a well equipped gym. You need to push yourself whenever situation permits. Do the household jobs, run with kids or play with friends. There are few other things which you can do to stay in shape.

Low fat foods:

Say NO to the deep fried food with high calories. Eat dairy products low in fat. Avoid red and processed meat. You can take nuts [but in small amount] because fats in the nuts are good for health. Cut down the amount of sauces, white bread, mayonnaise from you diet. You can certainly go for low fat butter or fatless cheese.

Don’t smoke and drink alcohol

All of us are aware of the fact that smoking causes a great injury to our health. So at any cost stop smoking and also teach the youngsters not to imitate the smoking heroes on the screen. After all smoking can not make one looking smarter. It is only a way of proving one’s foolishness.

Do not consume unlimited alcohol to avoid liver and kidney problems. However a glass of wine per day reduces the chances of heart problems.

Hydrate your body:

Without water our bodily functions will not work properly. So drink 7 – 8 glasses of water during a day. While working out do not forget to sip water too.

Cast out your tension

In a day spent at least half an hour by doing your favourite things. Always be positive and think optimistic. Chat with your loved ones to reduce your stress level. Try to control your anger.

Avoid polluted areas:

Keep some plants even in your indoors. Do not stay for a long time in a smoke filled area. Try to do your workouts in greens or inside an air-conditioned room.

Teeth care:

Researches have proven that healthy teeth ensure a good health. So brush your teeth twice a day and also floss your teeth.
