Strawberries for Health
Strawberries are probably the most fascinating fruits that are found in the summer months. Most of the people are fond of this wonderful fruit and wish to taste it at least once during the season. It is sad that this fruit disappears from the market as soon as the summer season ends. People feel sad about this and start waiting for the next summer. Florida Strawberry Growers Association should be given the credit for growing this fruit even during the winter season. Here is one delicious preparation which you can prepare quite easily and you will find tremendous admiration if you server this dish to your guests. This dish, as it is called, Molly Flower’s Strawberry Dipping Sauce.
The ingredients required for Molly Flower’s Strawberry Dipping Sauce:
Heavy whipping cream- 1 cup
Sour cream- 1 cup
Dark Brown sugar- 1 cup
Pure Vanilla Extract- 1 teaspoonful
Coffee flavored liqueur- 3 tablespoonful
(Coffee extract- 1 ½ tablespoonful)
Florida Strawberry- 1 ½ pounds
(The strawberries should be washed, patted dry and refrigerated)
After having the ingredients ready, you can start preparing the actual process. It is advisable to use electric mixer with wire-whisk attachment. First you should whip all the ingredients except the Florida strawberries. First whip the ingredients in low speed but for last a few minutes, increase the speed to medium or fast. You should watch the process till it gets thick.
After it gets thick, you chill it till it gets ready to serve. You can have a quantity of 3 ½ cups of sauce. You can take this preparation with anything. You can store this dipping sauce in the refrigerator for a period of 2 to 3 weeks.
