Symptoms of a Tubal Pregnancy
A tubal pregnancy occurs when an egg that has been fertilized implants itself somewhere outside of the uterus, typically in the fallopian tubes. A tubal pregnancy used to be a catastrophe. Diagnosis was usually made only after the tube had ruptured – and emergency surgery was required to stop the bleeding and save the mother’s life.
If an tubal pregnancy is present, you don’t need to have all of these symptoms, usually the pain with any of the other symptoms is enough to raise concern, especially if the pain is concentrated mainly on one side of the body.
In the beginning, a tubal pregnancy seems like a normal pregnancy. Early Pregnancy Signs include a missed period, breast tenderness and possibly morning sickness.
Tubal pregnancy symptoms signify that there is something wrong with your pregnancy, while twin pregnancy symptoms might make the experience all the more interesting.
As the pregnancy progresses, the most common signs are vaginal bleeding and lower abdominal pain. Sometimes pain occurs without any bleeding, and sometimes there is bleeding without much pain.
The early signs of pregnancy are easy to miss. At first, it might seem like a normal pregnancy: periods stop, a pregnancy test is positive, and symptoms of pregnancy such as breast tenderness and nausea appear.
An important indication of the presence of tubal pregnancy is that the size of the womb will be small indicating that the fetus is not growing inside the womb but outside in the fallopian tubes. This can, however, only be detected by a doctor in an internal pelvic examination
if you are pregnant and if you get pain in your shoulder while you are inhaling or exhaling, the chances of your having an tubal pregnancy are very high.
