The Different Symptoms of Depression
Due to different reasons, the human body is very much exposed to various diseases which are of various natures. Some people suffer from very common diseases like headaches and cough and cold. These physical disorders are very common therefore they are easy to be diagnosed and their treatment is also very easy.
Some of the most common symptoms of depression are (a) sadness and a strong tendency to cry, (b) a sense of insignificance and unimportance and (c) an attitude of pessimism. But apart from these symptoms, there are many more symptoms from which the patients suffer from. Since these symptoms are not easily noticed, therefore they do not know much about them. Some of the symptoms are as follows:
The patients always have a feeling of tiredness. He shows the tendency of losing all interest in all the activities that are necessary for him including sex.
A change in the sleep pattern is also observed among the patients. Some of them may lose their sleep whereas some may sleep for more than ten hours and yet they feel drowsiness and a strong tendency of sleeping very frequently.
The patient may also show some indication of change in the pattern of his appetite and eating habits. Some patients may lose their appetite completely or partially whereas some patient may eat much more than their usual appetite. This may also result in loss of weight and gain in the weight.
The patients may suffer from the fear of death. He may have a feeling of loneliness wherever he goes. The people suffering from these symptoms also show the symptoms of headache, pain in the stomach and in the muscles.

As per a study made very recently, it is observed that the case of women suffering from depression is almost twice than that of the men. Therefore this article is just an effort to make the women aware of the different symptoms of this severe disease so that they can take care of themselves as and when they face those symptoms.
