Groomed and plucked eyebrows do make a difference to your face and make you look beautiful. At the onset when you try to pluck your eyebrows, your skin can be numbed with ice cubes applied on the skin but it is a painful sensation all the same. It makes a good lot of difference to your face, especially if you have done it for the first time. Eyebrows should be shaped to perfection for accentuating your looks. If you cannot do it myself, because it is a tough enough job maintaining the symmetry you can visit a professional and have them perfected. Waxing is harsh and it can redden the area under the eyebrows and the best way perhaps is threading.

Threading is a very old way of removal of hair that originated in the continent of Asia. It is used for shaping the eyebrows, removing the hair on the upper lip. Apiece of thread is used to entwine a hair and pluck it from its root. The thread is entwined around the hair in a particular way and the hair is plucked swiftly and easily.

Threading is a very useful method although it hurts quite a lot. It is the most effective way that you can have your eyebrows shaped and it gives a very clean finish than plucking or waxing. The Ayurvedic oils are used nowadays for desensitizing the skin in the area first. This is mild oil used for aromatherapy that is applied to the skin for taking away all sorts of discomfort. Some threading procedures also involve the head massage which is wonderful to experience. The result for eye brow threading lasts between three and six weeks. The threading should be followed up on time so that the hairs do not grow back.
