The profession of a medical profession is well known for his professional attitude and skill. The attitude of a doctor always impresses me and I feel that you also have same type of remarks for the doctors as I have.

A good and compassionate doctor is always cheerful in mood and has a very unique attitude towards life. The outfit of a doctor also pays a rich contribution in giving the doctor a solid look and a strong positive attitude. It is generally believed that the doctor’s outfit has something to do with the profession but I have completely different opinion. I believe that the white coat is not as important as our profession is. For a doctor, dedicated to his profession, his interaction with his patients and care for them is more important rather than his white coat.

I always prefer to put on a white coat in my work place. I have my own reasons for thinking like this. The following reasons related to my profession make me put on a white coat everywhere in the hospital:

1. Cleanliness: I always prefer cleanliness everywhere and I try to maintain it anywhere I go. That coat helps me to keep clean as it shows even the slightest of dirt or even a drop of blood. This cleanliness is very much demanding depending upon the different operations done in the hospitals.

2. Identity: The white coat helps me to make a different identity among my patients. It helps them to identify me and to get comforted after having a look of me. I am proud of being able to provide them even the slightest of comforts.

3. Pockets: My white coat has many pockets in which I put my essential things that I require during my duty in the hospital. These pockets are of great use for me. I also carry different kinds of information about the patients in the pockets of my coat.

4. Sense of responsibility: My white coat always reminds me my duties towards my patients. It helps me interact with them in a very friendly manner. It decides my boundary in the premises of my hospital.

These are my reasons for putting on a white coat in the hospital. I really feel that it helps me to carry out my duties in a better manner.
