Vaginal dryness is a feeling of dryness or lack of lubrication. This may cause pain with intercourse, chronic vaginal infections, or feelings of tingling or burning.

A very common cause of vaginal dryness is lack of the hormone estrogen. Applying a vaginal estrogen-based cream can help relieve this dryness. Water-based lubricants also are effective for relieving vaginal dryness. Lubricants will moisten the vaginal lining for several hours, and the effect of a vaginal cream can last for up to a day.

Vaginal Dryness Cure

Use a bioidentical, natural estrogen vaginal cream. This has a direct effect on the tissues of the vulva and vagina and restores moisture over several weeks. Use 1/4 teaspoon of cream inserted into the vagina and applied to the vulva 3-4 times a week. It may take up to 4 weeks for you to notice any improvement in vagina moisture. If you are applying a bioidentical progesterone cream or progesterone/estrogen combination cream to your skin, you may also notice an improvement in vaginal symptoms.

Try to avoid soap. Still if you want to use soap use good quality soap without any scent. Perfumed soap or shampoo can increase your problem.Use powder of perfume in such a way that it do not come in contact with your vaginal area. You can use vitamin E oil
Water-based lubricants or vaginal creams are effective in relieving vaginal dryness. Lubricants will moisten the vaginal lining for several hours while the effect of a vaginal cream can last for up to a day.

The vagina can become irritated and dry from soaps, lotions, perfumes or douches. Avoiding these may reduce vaginal dryness in some women.

Fish oil for vaginal dryness – Take lots of essential fatty acids (EFA). These include:
•    Omega-3 (fish and flaxseed oil ),
•    Omega-6 (evening primrose oil and borage oil) and
•    Omega-9 (olive oil).

They help to keep the vagina healthy and also help your body produce hormones. The best source of these fatty acids is oily fish like fresh salmon. Others are tuna, mackerel and halibut. If you can’t eat enough fish to get a good supply of these EFAs take a good supplement with a combination of all these fatty acids.

Alternative approaches involve little or no risk and can be considered as the best and safest way for treating vaginal dryness. In this level of approach, Herbal remedies and Acupuncture established themselves as the best treatments. Acupuncture is a Chinese medical treatment involving the insertion of very fine sterile needles into the body at specific points according to a mapping of “energy pathways”. It’s an excellent treatment, but complicated to follow. A successful acupuncture treatment involves time, money and finding the right practitioner. Therefore, most women are looking for less complicated ways of alternative vaginal dryness treatment and think herbal remedies are a safe and effective solution.

The easy way to treat vaginal dryness is taking herb supplements. I suffered from itching and pain for more that two years and after taking Sentia I’m OK.

Agree. I can’t say anything about pain because I have never had it, but I know a lot about itching and disability to be aroused. After tacking Sentia I really feel myself better. I don’t want to have sex every day as it was in my 20s, but I’m ready to have it when my husband wants it. As for itching I just don’t have it.
