The worse thing about a relationship is a break-up. Nobody wants it and almost everybody has experienced it at some point of time. Mutual break-ups are still more acceptable but being dumped by someone is embarrassing, heart breaking and infuriating; all at the same time. There are some ways in which you could know if your partner is thinking of a break-up. If you recognize the signs properly, you could sort out the problem that is the reason for a possible break up.

There are a number of things that you should notice to know if your partner wants to break up.

You partner might work late hours and come home late; more than they used to. They might stop doing things for you that they used to earlier and also cancel plans all of a sudden. They might forget important dates; especially ones that they most certainly remembered every time. They might turn distant and sulky; you might have difficulty in talking sense with them for a long period.

They might stop being as affectionate as they were previously; the hugs seem perfunctory. They might tell lies about trivial things and also your argument quotient might go up a level or two. They might seem aloof and very secretive about his phone conversations and other activities.

If all of these or most of these come true, there’s definitely something brewing that doesn’t smell good. You should be able to detect the signs and then go and talk to your partner about it. if the problem is not a big enough issue, then you can easily sort it out and then your relationship can be saved.

Break-ups are nasty, but not irreversible and they can also be stopped. So if you suddenly find your partner behaving in a way that suggests a break-up, just talk and make them understand that you want this to work. In the end, it always does.
