Your teeth have always been an inseparable part of your beauty. They always play a very vital role in determining the completeness of your beauty. Whiter teeth make a very good impression on the person you are facing as he gets the first impression of your personality because of the looks of your teeth.

You should never neglect the importance of whiter teeth. According to Kim Harms, D.D.S. and a practicing dentist in American Dental Association, teeth have the natural tendency to yellow with the increase in your age but you can always do the needful to keep them white to have a younger look.

Are you looking for more reasons to keep your teeth whiter?

As whiter teeth add more to your personality, it was found in a survey that young ladies with whiter teeth earned more handsomely than those having dull teeth. It is very true that your teeth represent you anywhere and you are evaluated by your teeth before you speak a word from your mouth.

What are the effective techniques of keeping the teeth white?

Bleaching of the teeth is probably the bets and most effective method of whitening your teeth. According to Debra Glassman, a noted Cosmetic Dentist in New York City, most of the effective bleaching methods make, use of peroxide as gel, strip, or liquid form. The detailed study of the teeth structure shows that the teeth surface consists of tiny dentinal tubules. These tubules are very porous and absorb tiny pieces of food or drinks that we have. These pieces get rotten and discolor your teeth. The bleach having peroxides bubbles into those pieces and destroys them there. Before you go for bleaching your teeth, you must get the on-the spot advise from an experienced dentist and follow his advice thereafter.

Sometimes the dentists also provide treatment of bleaching and that bleach is three times more effective than the ones available in the market. First they cover your teeth with protective rubber guard and then the bleach is applied.

Another treatment for the same is also available for the same. This treatment is cheaper than the previous one but it also very effective for brightening your teeth. But if you are non-resistant to peroxide, you may have better treatment for your teeth. Here you can use the chemical property of baking soda in which it reacts with water to remove stain. Just dip your toothbrush in soda and brush your teeth once a week. That will take care of the whitening quality of your teeth.

Apart from these techniques, you can also eat foods like celery, carrots and apples etc. that contain cellulose. The cellulose acts as natural abrasive and cleanses your teeth quite naturally. You should also be very careful about your lip-stick as they also cause severe damage to your teeth.
