If you don’t have something to smile about here are a few tips for you that would give your dazzling smile back. Have you always thought of whitening your teeth but have never ventured out to do so? Whitening teeth would make you look younger. Teeth seem to yellow with age and on a research it was found out that women with a sparkling smile earn more than those with less dazzling teeth. Now isn’t that reason enough to start whitening your teeth?

The bleaching methods for teeth use some form of peroxide. They are used either in liquid form or in strip /gel form. This dissolves the stains in the surface and teeth surfaces are made of tubules that are hollow structures which are horizontally stacked. Anything that discolors a white shirt can stain teeth. The porous elements absorb the drink and food you take. Thus there is discoloration due to the entering of these elements into the teeth surface.

Before you try out any teeth whitener, you can ask a dentist. That is because not all teeth  would react to whiteners in a positive way. There are other types of work like veneers, crowns and caps that do not take in whitening as the peroxide cannot penetrate and thus cannot lighten. The stains that are caused by medicines like tetracycline and antibiotics are difficult to clean as they lie inside the mouth and there the brighteners cannot reach. Thus your dentist would be the best person to tell you which whitener would work the best for you. And once you have a set of dazzling teeth, be sure to greet your boss with a warm and sparkling good morning smile. The promotion and raise would be soon on your way.
