Wellness is a healthy emotional and physical state and this is further improved upon by healthy habits, exercise and balanced diet. Nutrition is the process of providing the nutrients and the right food to the body. The living habits of an individual should be healthy and should not cause any harm to the body. This happens when we avoid excessive consumption of alcohol, drugs and smoking. Wellness happens when the body functions in harmony with the other mental and physical functions happening at optimal levels. Total body wellness is more than just visiting the gymnasium.

There are quite a number of factors that contribute to the wellness of the body. Water, right food and daily vitamin intake is necessary. The physical conditioning in dealing with life is also very much necessary. Physical exercise leads to the wellness on the  whole. The body is made up of several physical and mental processes and we usually think of the muscle tone and the weight of the body. It is very important that we should consider the body parts. This is achieved through the daily activities and also through rest that we get through sleep.
These can be achieved if we use the resources provided to us, very intelligently. This would help to train our body up about the total wellness. This is not a very difficult thing to achieve. This can be a lengthy enough process. Years of body abuse can have its own negative points and this will need years of patience. Considering every part of the body and taking care of that would mean wellness for the total body.

The body will work efficiently, and only then can you enjoy life all the more. The human body can be compared to a well oiled machine that has been oiled properly, if it is taken care of and maintained properly. It can stand some amount of neglect and abuse but not for long. When the body functions, the soul and the mind would also function well and in harmony thus bringing is a total wellness for the body.
