On any given Monday evening, as you and your partner return from a days work, after a happening weekend, freshen up, he puts on the TV and asks “So, what’s up for dinner tonight?” and most of the time the answer
doesn’t satisfy him – you are left helpless! More frustration grips you when the kids add to this “Oh Mom! Not sandwiches again!” There is no point debating why you should be thinking on everybody’s behalf. It has
to be dealt with. First of all, make a list of menus for 7 days of the week and keep that in mind while you shop for the week. Distribute the decision for the Menu amongst family members. Let others prepare at least one dinner per week. Even kids could be involved. Dinner should be plane, simple, tasty and also time saving to prepare.
There are options like preparing in advance. You can definitely try out the casseroles which are delicious, nutritious and easy to prepare – it could be vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Keep the ingredients chopped and cleaned during the weekend. Nothing like a hot casserole on a tired Monday night! Then you may go for the grilled food, because, the good thing about grilled food is that, it is delicious but simple to make, and fully prepared beforehand. Just marinate and keep them aside. Then set to grill when you want them and enjoy them hot. The left over can be used in curries! Cottage cheese, chicken, vegetables when put into
