What Does Your Posture Say About You?
Your posture tells a lot of thing about you. It determines the major parts of your personality. The way to stand up, you sit down, you start walking etc. make a major impression on the persons you are with. On the other hand, you can make a lot of correct assumptions about a person looking at his postures.
Actually your posture is a part of your personality. It is the way you present yourself to the world around you. You must try to put on a good posture everywhere but due to some physical disabilities, you fail to maintain a good posture everywhere.
Your posture is determined by some sort of physical injury also. It may result in some sort of defect in your appearance also. Due to any bodily injury or emotional trauma, you keep one of your shoulders tilted a bit, or you walk with one foot straight. A yoga class can rectify these postures to certain extent.
Sometimes the mental strength and straight forwardness pays a good effect on your posture. Such a man walks more confidently. You can find more confidence in the attitude of such a person. His chest remains up and head is held high. A man with such an impressive posture becomes more acceptable everywhere. Such a person is said to have an enthusiastic posture.
On the other hand it is find out the posture of a person having a low standard of mental status and frail personality. Such a posture is said to have been of a victim. His chest and shoulders are curved inside and head hangs forward. Such a person wears a weak and fragmented personality and has a negative frame of mind and thinking.
It is very easy to find out person with a relatively poor posture. Actually if you are conscious enough, you can find out the postures and the mind set-up behind them. You will also be able to find out the emotional and physical strengths or weaknesses if you possess a very sensitive pair of eyes and a strong capacity to reason. However, if you have poor posture and want to improve it, you can take up any of the following methods: Iyengar, Yoga, Rolfing etc.
