Why should we eat chocolates?
Did you know chocolates make you a better person and a better lover? Chocolate is an aphrodisiac. It dates back to the eighteenth century when Giacomo Casanova the Italian libertine took chocolates before going on romantic conquests. Phenyl ethylamine which is an amino acid present in chocolates stimulates desire and reproduces a desire to fall in love.
Therefore, chocolate acts as a substitute of food for men. The school of Public Health at Harvard says that people, who ate chocolates thrice in a month, would have a year longer to live than those who never ate at
all. This is better explained by the polyphenol levels found in chocolates. This also reduces the low density proteins from getting oxidized which protects us from heart disease.
Chocolates are rich in magnesium and it is also a muscle relaxant which helps in PMT. It helps the lessening of muscle cramps. Chocolates have a greater anti oxidant capacity than other vegetables and fruits. Especially dark chocolates have a good number of detoxing agents. Chocolate also contains phenols, copper, zinc, vitamins, E, B, C, A and D. and also vitamins, iron, calcium. Therefore, not only do chocolates
help us to get a cure for heart diseases but also boost the immunity.
Chocolates are good for teeth. They contain some carbohydrates that are fermentable and that which causes tooth decay. The cocoa beans out of which chocolates are made have anti bacterial constituents which help in protecting tooth decay. Chocolate does not contain as much of coffee as there is in a cup. To consume caffeine as much as there is in a cup of coffee you would have to eat 12 chocolate bars! So don’t worry, get to eat chocolates at least thrice in a month to stay and feel good!
