Clean And Ice Compress
It is always advised to wash the skin with soap and water after a bee sting because it helps to clear the skin of many bacteria and viruses.
It also means that the wound won’t get worse. The next step post cleaning is that you should rub an ice cube over the same or do a cold compress. The reason for this is that the swelling caused due to the sting will not get worse. So make sure that you apply ice or cold water for at least 10-15 minutes. Reapply if needed.
Butter Knife Scraping
Take a butter knife and remove the poison, if there is any from the wound, by scraping it gently.
The butter knife is the best way to do it but make sure that the same is clean and disinfected, else you will be making the infection worse. Scrape in the opposite direction of the wound i.e. the position in which the stinger bit you.
Cloves of the garlic is a quick and effectual remedy to get rid of the bee sting, reduce inflammation and also provide relief.
You can simply crush the clove using the back of your butter knife or any other cutlery. Then apply it on the wound and let it stay for a while. The juices of the garlic are released via the same and they penetrate deep within to provide relief.
The essential oils of the lavender are highly recommended for soothing the wound or bee sting. Basically it has relaxants and agents that help in reducing the impact of the sting and also provide respite from the itching and irritation.
The oils help to neutralize the venom released by the bee and thus helps you heal immediately. You can apply the oil and leave it on, there is no need to wash it off.
Even baking soda is a quick remedy that helps to get rid of the swelling caused because of the bee and also reduce the venom.

Calendula or Aloe Vera

For this treatment you can crush the flowers of the calendula or take the gel of the Aloe and the apply it on the wound. The oil of the calendula can also be applied on the wound to neutralize the poison. Aloe too soothes the wound and helps in releasing the poison.
Basil, Onions And Honey
These three ingredients can be used separately to treat the wound or sting or can also be combined. All three of them provide respite from the pain caused because of the wound while relieving the symptoms. What you can do is simply crush the leaves of the basil along with taking some onion juice and honey then then mix it together. Apply on the wound and let it stay for at least 30 minutes before washing it off.
If using separately, there is no need to make the onion juice, you can rub the slices of the onion on the same. However the leaves of the basil need to be crushed for best results. Honey is made from these bees, but the irony is that it is rich in healing properties and works well in reducing inflammation and healing the wound.
Olive Oil And Lime Juice
Olive oil is an effectual remedy for curing different kinds of bits. You can mix it with some lime juice for effectual and faster results.
The combination of the two helps in reducing the swelling while the antiseptic properties of the lime prevents the poison from spreading. Olive oil penetrates through the layers of the skin and does not let the venom spread any further too, while providing nourishment to the skin.
