The staphylococcus aureus germ causes a boil on the skin of a human body. This germ helps in the collection of bacteria in the oil glands or the hair follicles of the skin. You can always use over the counter topical lotion and cream to treat the boil of your skin. Chlorhexidine cream, 1 percent hydrocortisone cream, antibiotic or antiseptic creams that have tea tree oil, calendula, etc will be good for curing your boil.

These creams are available over the counter in many drug stores and pharmacies. When you apply this, it will alleviate the pain and make the pus come out of the boil. Always keep the area covered with a gauze bandage this will protect you from infection and scratching.

2. Hot Compress

If you want to cure a boil easily then you can apply a hot compress on the affected area. To do this you will just have to boil some water. Dip a clean cloth in the water and lift it with the help of tongs.

Wring the cloth to flush out the excess water and apply it on the boil directly. Leave the cloth on it till it cools down. You can also use a hot water bottle as a compress on your boil. But always apply a clean cloth over your boil to prevent the area from burning.

Turmeric is a natural healer and if you want to take the pus out of the boil in a natural way then you can apply this paste. Make a paste of turmeric, and fresh ginger with water.

Apply this paste using a cotton swab and cover the affected area with a piece of gauze. Let the paste sit on the boil for 30 to 45 minutes. This will make a head on the boil and let the pus drain out. If you want to see good results then you will have to repeat this procedure for a few times.

You will have to warm some milk and then slowly add three teaspoonful of salt. Do not add salt very fast because the milk will curdle over the flame. Simmer this milk for ten minutes and then add bread crumbs or flour to thicken and form it into a paste. Apply this warm paste on the boil every half an hour or till your boil forms a head and bursts. Wipe the pus with a clean cloth or cotton ball.
