Prepare and steep teabags in a pot of boiling water and then let it cool down by adding ice to the preparation .In case sunburn is major then the steeped and cooled teabag preparation can be kept in the tub and a soak can be prepared.

Another common and natural treatment for sunburn is Lavender Essential Oil. It is an amazing form of treatment but care should be taken to avoid using it directly on the burns as it could hurt. The best way to apply it is by dripping it and then spreading it on with slight pressure and with the help of a soft tissue or soft cloth like oil.

Once applied it has to be kept on for a few minutes and then either washed off or wiped with a moist cloth. Yoghurt is often mixed with various other natural beauty products to bring back the natural glow of the skin and helps in refreshing the texture of the skin and removing the skin rashes that appear on the skin due to the ultraviolet rays of the sun and eliminates the tan as well, retaining the natural colour of the skin.

The juice of cucumber can be applied on the face and can be left to dry. After the juice dries up it can be wiped off the face with a wet cloth. Alternately grated cucumber can also be applied on the face like a face pack and can be left on for about 5 minutes before removing it with wet wipe cloth. The function of the cucumber is to soothe the affective area and remove the tan from the skin and provide moisture thus rejuvenating it.

Aloe Vera Gel is another natural product with multiple benefits and is strongly recommended for curing sunburns. Though it is readily available with the chemists one should always use the natural product.

A piece of the plant can be directly applied to the affected area as it has the potential to get rid of the stinging and burning sensations caused due to the sunburn. The best way of using it is by slicing it and applying the gel directly on the affected area. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and then wipe it off.
